SPA checklists for HE provider institutions - July 2010
SPA is conscious of the challenges facing universities, colleges, applicants and the HE sector during the 2010 admissions cycle. There has been an impact in terms of the increase in applications, the cap on student numbers (in England and Scotland), funding constraints etc. These were covered in the UUK I-note circulated to Vice-Chancellors 'Managing undergraduate student recruitment 2010-11' on 30 June 2010.
Following our events in June for HE staff and in consultation with stakeholders, SPA has produced some short documents for institutions to consider when planning confirmation, clearing and adjustment in 2010. A summary highlighting key points for the 2010 confirmation period can be found below:
