Paperless processing
Although applicants have been applying on-line through UCAS for five years, UCAS has continued to provide the institutions, for each course/programme that the applicant applies to, with a paper copy of the application. Following the decision by UCAS, with HE provider institutions’ (HEIs) agreement, to no longer issue paper copy application forms to HEIs from 2013 (for 2014 entry to HE) SPA has been working with HEIs where progress has already been made in this area, to publish a series of case studies on the SPA website to assist institutions with their planning and processes.
