Equality and Diversity – opportunities and challenges in HE admissions
Tuesday 20 June 2017
The Studio, Birmingham, 7 Cannon Street, Birmingham, B2 5EP
This networking event will give staff from recruitment, admissions, and other areas supporting applicants to HE the opportunity to engage in discussions with a range of practitioners around the theme of equality and diversity.
SPA and the Equality Challenge Unit will reflect on how equality and diversity is supported and considered within HE admissions and draw on some of the key challenges to prompt group discussion.
Working with a facilitator, participants will work in groups and will be invited to talk through and share experiences of supporting equality and diversity in relation to a wide range of topic areas selected from SPA’s suite of good practice. Recommendations on each topic area will be compiled after the event and shared with attendees for continued discussion.
An agenda and booking form will be published on this page in due course.
