Good practice toolkit

SPA's good practice toolkit has been developed to make our good practice resources more accessible for HE staff working in admissions and related areas, to make it easier to share our materials with colleagues, to consider them in your plans and reviews, and to support staff training.

We currently have modules for:

  • Introduction
  • Admissions policies
  • Interviews
  • Unconscious bias
  • Applicant complaints and appeals
  • Applicant feedback

With more to follow over the coming months.

To log in: www.spagoodpractice.com

We encourage all types of providers around the UK to use it. You will be prompted to log in, in the top right corner, and will need to enter the details you use to access the providers section of UCAS.com. (If you do not have an account, you will be given the option to create one.) In order to enable the progress feature, you should also be prompted to 'enrol' on your first visit. We would encourage you to complete the 'Introduction' module first. You'll need speakers or headphones as each module is accompanied by voiceover; a transcript is provided in the notes section.

We're keen to hear what you think of the SPA toolkit so do please send your feedback to Jeni Clack. Similarly, if you have any queries or if you have any problems accessing the toolkit, let us know.
